Natalie Jenkins - Chair
Key Skills+Experience – Arts Industry / Independent Producer / Arts Management / Business Development / Strategic Planning
Before establishing her own consultancy, Natalie was General Manager of Perth Theatre Company and has over 15 years management experience in the performing arts industry. Natalie was Chair of Stages WA until April 2007 and is currently a member of the Healthway Board (and Chair of the Arts Advisory Committee) and Chairperson of GAIN Inc.
Tanya Payne - Treasurer
Key Skills+Experience - Finance / Accounting
Tanya has worked in finance at various firms for over 20 years while completing a Bachelor of Business (double major in Accounting and Management) at Edith Cowan University.
She has held board positions with various other not-for-profit organizations including the Finance Committee of The Centre for Cerebral Palsy and Duncraig Senior High School, and sat on the Perth Theatre Company board for six years.
Tanya's insight into financial management and dealing with government comes from 12 years with Marketforce, a leading WA advertising agency, and having recently joined Volunteer Task Force, a government funded community organization assisting the frail, aged and disabled.
Mike Nanning - Secretary

Mike has over 20 years experience in the entertainment industry and brings to the Blue Room Theatre board a wealth of knowledge. Mike has worked in film, theatre, concert and corporate events with an extensive history of national and international touring. His many roles have included venue manager, production manager, tour manager, lighting designer and director for Kompany Kido, a local contemporary dance company. Mike currently heads up his own successful production and design company.
David Hall
Key Skills+Experience - Marketing / PR / Youth
David Geoffrey Hall is a freelance public relations and marketing consultant based in Perth, WA. Since falling head first (without any experience in the field, or a parachute) in to a campaign for the 2008 UNIMA World Puppetry Festival production of Red Lashes, he has hit the ground running and never looked back. David has had the pleasure of working on many productions in his short career, for The Blue Room Theatre; national Fringe Festival productions; comedy performances; fundraisers; and music gigs. He spent some time alongside John Michael Swinbank at JMS Public Relations gaining valuable experience working for companies including Spare Parts Puppet Theatre and Perth Theatre Company.
David has a BA Mass Communication (Journalism) from Murdoch University.

Renee McIntosh
Key Skills+Experience - Arts Industry / Actor / Independent Producer
Renee has been working as a professional actor since 2002 when she graduated from the acting course at WAAPA. In 2006 she co-founded Happy Dagger Theatre which produced its first play Oleanna at The Blue Room Theatre in September that year. She also starred in the controversial play The York Crucifixion at The Rechabites' Hall in April 2008. Renee is passionate about The Blue Room Theatre and the work it helps to produce, and agrees it is the best place to play in Perth.
Chris Isaacs
Key Skills+Experience – Arts Industry / Writer / Youth
Chris has worked in theatre in Perth for over four years now. He has stage managed for Black Swan Theatre Company, worked as a Mechanist for Thin Ice Productions and even served the odd drink behind the Blue Room Theatre Bar. Chris has been a lighting designer for several independent theatre groups, such as Weeping Spoon Productions and Mythophobic. He also wrote The Forlorn, which received a Blue Room Theatre Award for Best Production Team.
Louanne Munz
Key Skills+Experience -
With over 25 years in the resources sector in corporate and community roles, Louanne is an experienced community practioner, who's focus is on community engagement and building relationships and creating long term partnerships.
She loves to experience new cultures and enjoys the many artistic talents that are presented in the Arts community in Perth.
Zoe Pepper
Key Skills+Experience - Director / Independent Producer
Primarily a theatre director, most recently Zoe directed Heart of Gold at PICA, and in 2008 was the Associate Director of Don’t Look Back with UK company dreamthinkspeak for the Perth International Arts Festival.
Zoe spent two years in London where she directed Devil’s Gulch: A Dastardly Deed supported by the Battersea Arts Centre, and wrote and directed a pilot for the comedy series Maze of Terror. She also studied at the Philippe Gaulier school in Paris.
Zoe's company Side Pony Productions (est. 2004) primarily produces devised theatre and is now shifting into film. In 2010 Zoe will direct The Pride at The Blue Room Theatre and work with Sydney Theatre Company directing a devised piece.
