Good Play Club

The Blue Room Theatre and Black Swan State Theatre Company are proud to present Good Play Club, an initiative that invites the theatre makers of Perth to come together and stand on the shoulders of giants.

Each month a different play will be read at an informal gathering, followed by a guided conversation led by Black Swan Director of New Writing Jeffrey Jay Fowler and an invited guest artist. We seek to foster conversation among the artists of Perth about the origins of our art form, and how it has led to contemporary practice.

Places are limited for this free monthly event, so RSVP is essential. This is your chance to engage intellectually with other artists and to see how the theatre being staged in Perth today fits its historical context.

Good Play Club will return in 2018. Details will be announced in the coming months.

Can’t make it to the next Good Play Club, but want to be kept in the loop about future sessions? Email harriet[at]blueroom.org.au to be added to the mailing list.
