Kultour is seeking Expressions of Interest from CALD artists to participate in its KG2014 Conceptual Laboratory program.
“I want to know that I have been part of the building a cannon of work that challenges the mainstream; and with that development, know that I have contributed to the building of a whole community of artists and audiences for that work.” Kultour Gathering 2013 Laboratory Participant
The KG2014 Conceptual Laboratory program will provide a selected group of artists from across Australia who are working in all art form areas with a unique opportunity to test concepts and explore new and innovative artistic frameworks – where diversity of art form and culture inform the creative process and outcomes.
With an emphasis on enquiry and knowledge sharing, KG2014 provides a testing ground for new ideas in a supportive and inclusive environment; as well as seeding strategies and opportunities for broadening pathways and audiences. The program provides a space where participants from diverse cultural backgrounds will be challenged and inspired whilst contributing to the development of the national arts agenda.
KG2014 will take place in 10 centres across the nation between August and November.
Deadline for Expressions of Interest: 5.00pm 21 July 2014
