Quirky, interesting, witty and playful.
How do we survive contamination? What does it mean to live on soil that can poison and destroy? Based on research about communities living with these questions, Blue Cow is a performance that explores what it means to be contaminated. Using clowning, verbatim text, projection, games and music, this is a humorous and dark story that is both personal and universal.
A passionate one-woman show, Blue Cow evolved out of writer and performer Alice Cooper’s active interest in environmental issues. Drawing on first-hand experiences and research, it will make you think about how contamination affects us, physically and psychologically.
Blue Cow marks the return of Alice to Perth, following on from the 2015 FRINGE WORLD hit Waves.
