Awkward, apocalyptic love story
The apocalypse is here, with off-the-scale earthquakes, UFOs, exploding stars, mutants from the sewers, and a giant komodo dragon. However, as the world burns to the ground outside, Peter stays in his favourite cafe. Morose and alone, he sits in silence. That is, until ex-girlfriend Rachel bursts in, out of breath and bloodstained. Together they find cold coffee, old wounds, biscotti, copyright law, and answers they never expected. Together, they face the end.
Written by Scott McArdle and performed by Emily David and Aaron Vanderkley, Coincidences At The End Of Time is a story of love, loss and closure.
“McArdle is a young writer with great potential and he’s certainly not afraid to explore provocative and dark subject matter” – Perth Theatre Reviews, 2014
