Life, loss, and Lego.
Meet Dom: he’s 12 and three quarters. He likes shadow puppets, guitar and Lego. He recently lost his dad and his mum is on the brink of losing her mind.
Dom has run away to the abandoned house at the end of the street where, in the dark of night, he is confronted by two mysterious squatters, who could change his life for the better… or worse.
A whimsical yet confronting exploration of childhood, mental illness, loss, and the wonders of the imagination.
Loosely inspired by a German children’s novel, Death Stole My Dad brings together a variety of mediums, including live music, shadow play, and a versatile Lego set.
What would you do to bring a loved one back from the dead?
