The Duck House with Jeffrey Jay Fowler
Mona loves to be dead. Minnie hates to kill her.
Their friendship is a hilarious and gruesome game as they mourn, embalm, infect and die. As their world darkens, they struggle fiercely for power, attention and who gets to be the boy.
“It’s normal, isn’t it? That when death comes he deads you. So if he’s coming, I assume that he really is going to dead me. He wouldn’t come over for a cup of tea. What would we talk about?”
Created by local award-winning artists The Duck House (They ran ‘til they stopped, nominated Best New Play Equity Guild Awards 2012) with writer Jeffrey Jay Fowler (Hope is the saddest, winner Best Theatre Award Fringe World 2012) and featuring Arielle Gray (It’s Dark Outside, winner Artshub Critic’s Choice ‘Innovation Award’ 2012), this black comedy is not to be missed.
