The Yonder

13 - 17 February, 9PM

Deep trouble in deep space

Sci-fi comedy from two-time Melbourne Fringe award winners and FRINGE WORLD award finalists.

Doruk and Lim are the only crew onboard The Yonder, and the only two people awake for the hundred-year mission to a distant planet—humanity’s last hope. Tensions between the pair begin to materialise. This distracts from the real peril squelching up on them.

Together with Asian Ghost-ery Store and Salty, The Yonder is the concluding play in a series that looks at race, cultural identity and migration with humour. This work is devised by physical comedians Ezel Doruk and Shannan Lim, and co-created by Jayde Harding and Tye Norman.

“Action and humour.” — Australian Arts Review
“An excellent piece of theatre.” — The Age (Asian Ghost-ery Store)
“Playfully absurdist.” — Perth Arts Live (Salty)
