The Man and the Moon

2 - 6 February 9.30pm

DURATION 60 minutes
PRICE $22 - $25

Jazz cabaret celestial lovestory.

Complete lunacy or a total eclipse of the heart? Either way, it’s a hell of a love story.

A man wakes in his grey apartment in outer-middle suburbia to realise he’s living a life that has lost its shine.

From Variegated Productions comes a new solo cabaret show that weaves a tale of astronomical love and self-discovery. With a live band channelling smoky New York jazz clubs, it combines lamenting lyrics, evocative storytelling and a man falling in love with the wrong celestial body.

Starring St John Cowcher (These Guys, See Ya Sailor Man, The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik), with music by Brett Smith (Elephents, Venus in Fur) and directed by Mark Storen (The Polite Gentleman, A Drunken Cabaret), Variegated Productions is over the moon about presenting this world premiere.

Come and see where the evening tides take you.
