Gay rom-com cabaret.
Ado is a 35 and he’s never been in love. Ever. The urban gay jungle of Grindr and instant hook-ups are obstacles in his way to tasting romance.
That is, until Ado meets Felix: a human rights lawyer, who speaks like Hugh Grant and wears Italian suits. We follow their courtship as they date, dance, argue and move in together on their way to becoming BFFs and their big gay wedding.
Along the way, Ado expresses, with delicate and devastatingly honest humour, the rarely explored perspective of a gay man in love.
It’s time to paint the rainbow and unleash the world’s first one man gay rom com cabaret! Hilarious and heartfelt songs meet physical comedy and candid storytelling in one man’s final shot at finding love in a big gay city and his journey to discover that the desires of the human heart are universal, no matter for whom it beats.
Parisian trained clown Adriano Cappelletta presents an all-singing, all-dancing comedy confessional that will inspire you to take the leap into love’s bright abyss.
