Presented by Shona Erskine and Jeffrey Jay Fowler
Am I good? Do people like me? Am I attractive? What’s that in the bushes? Will it kill me? This is a first time collaboration between psychologist and choreographer Shona Erskine and writer/director Jeffrey Jay Fowler, the product of which will be performed by Storm Helmore.
Exploring how to fuse research, text, movement and narrative in an appealing and interesting way, The Do Not Get Eaten Machine looks at the connection between a brain designed to hide from predators and a world designed to sell you junk.
