We are thrilled to announce the results of the fourth round of The Blue Room Theatre’s LOFT initiative. Reflecting The Blue Room Theatre’s commitment to seeing more diverse stories on stage, support for this round was dedicated to support the creative development of work by artists from culturally diverse or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, or artists with disability.
The three projects funded in this round join the nine projects already to have received LOFT funding since its inception in 2015. In total, LOFT has awarded more than $292,000 in funds to West Australian artists.
The Blue Room Theatre would like to thank our peer assessors who sat on this panel for their time and effort in deliberating this round: Dalisa Pigram (Co-Artistic Director, Marrugeku), Jessica Darlow (Program Manager, Perth International Arts Festival), and Kellee Aberg (Independent artist).
