This masterclass will explore the fundamental materials that all theatre makers deal with on a daily basis and research the profound impact these two massive materials have on our making and performing artistic selves. Everything we need to know as makers and performers are contained in the mysterious and practical worlds of Space and Time. How do we use Space and Time as generators of material and how can they support our work as performers? How can we let Space and Time move and inspire us? Together we will look at the very essence of theatre making and performing through these infinitely inspiring materials. Participants should come with an open mind and should dress to move.
