Good Play Club is an initiative presented in association with Black Swan State Theatre Company that invites the theatre makers of Perth to come together and stand on the shoulders of giants. Spend an evening with friends and colleagues for a playreading followed by some invigorating discussion facilitated by Black Swan’s Director of New Writing, Jeffrey Jay Fowler.
For the Winter Nights edition of Good Play Club, we will be joined by guest artist Ian Michael (Resident Artist, Black Swan State Theatre Company) to examine Kill the Messenger by Nakkiah Lui.
This is your chance to engage intellectually with other artists and to learn more about the history and context of this wonderful industry.
Good Play Club is free, but RSVP is essential; to secure your place please fill in the form below.

Winter Nights is a cauldron for theatre making, a mid-year meeting point of theatre making and ideas about construction and deconstruction, politics and activism, gender and sexuality, inspiration and disenchantment, war, peace, camaraderie, loneliness, joy; whatever is timely for artists and audiences to share.
