Annual Giving Campaign

Last year, our donors raised an amazing $30,385 to help us bring back our beloved Summer Nights festival after a Covid-19 related hiatus.

These funds supported 95 independent artists to create and present 11 new local productions to 2700 audience members over 2.5 weeks. To hear more about the success of the season, please check out some highlights here:

This end of financial year, we are asking for your support again to help make our 2023 Summer Nights festival an even greater success.

Thanks to the incredible generosity from our supporters, we have raised $14 995, which will be doubled to $29 990 thanks to our matched funding initiative! As we get to the end of the financial year, we’re aiming to smash last year’s total and raise over $31,000 to help make Summer Nights next year possible.

We are excited to announce that every dollar you donate up to $25,000, will matched by our generous major donors, Ian and Jill Green. $1 becomes $2, $50 becomes $100, $500 becomes $1,000.

Your donations will ensure that our 2023 Summer Nights will expand to a 3.5 week-long festival, continue to support local artists and new works to be presented and welcome back national productions as part of the season again.

Your donations will bring The Blue Room Theatre alive again in the summer months as the essential independent artist hub in the heart of the Perth Cultural Centre on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja.

Your support will enable us to show a wider range of performances for audiences to enjoy and support exciting artistic exchanges between local and national artists.
