Learn from Sukhjit Kaur Khalsa and Joel Evans on creating through a community engaged practice, to understand the ethics and frameworks, and develop practical skills on connecting and working with communities. Leave this workshop ready to embed a more socially conscious and inclusive creative process into your practice.

 

In 2024, STRUT Dance and The Blue Room Theatre introduce a series of eight Production Skills workshops.

The workshops are practice-based sessions aimed to assist independent makers in all the things they are required to do in and around their productions but might not have had the training to do so.

Each workshop will focus on a different element of production including sound, finance, writing, cultural awareness, lighting, and dramaturgy.
