Highvis-glamour meets queer outback comedy

Landfill worker, Beccy, lives in a world that is equal parts high-vis glamour and free-flowing filth. The search for distractions from her hapless dating life leaves her constantly orbiting an internal void. Join Beccy as she descends into the landfill to discover why she feels like the discarded rubbish she sorts. 

SMOKO by Jasmine Story squelches down into the murky underworld of an outback rubbish dump. This queer outback comedy is an exploration of self-worth in a world of rapid consumption. SMOKO questions the way that our modern relationship with objects influences how we treat each other.
