Music without borders
11 September – Indian Classical Music & Dance
An immersive evening of Hindustani and Carnatic classical traditions, exploring the melodic depth of raag and the rhythmic intricacy of taal. Through composed and improvised works, the artists reveal nuanced expression and emotional colour. The program includes ghazals and thumris in a semi-classical style, alongside Indian classical dance marked by expressive storytelling, precise footwork and close musical dialogue.
12 September – Indo-Western Fusion Music & Dance
A vibrant world music experience uniting Indian classical foundations with jazz, blues and rock. Raag-based melodies and rhythmic cycles expand into harmonic layering and improvisational exchange. Contemporary dance responds to shifting textures and grooves, creating a dynamic cross-cultural performance language.
