A dance of living multiplicities

A body stands at the intersection of continents, cultures, and questions. In a space alive with sound and image, fragments flicker: red soil, dance beats, anklets. A voice and dance movements spiral through memory, desire, and devotion. INTERSECT is immersive theatre blending film, dance, and photography to explore identity. Queer, multiracial, dancer—caught between opposing views of society, navigating tradition and rebellion, being both oppressor and oppressed, moving with contradiction and compassion. As they step live into the space, the audience witnesses a conversation with themselves where truths INTERSECT, leaving an archive of resistance and vulnerability.

What excites you the most about this project and what are you hoping to get out of your residency?

I’m excited to explore how technology, cinema, and dance merge in 360° to tell stories of multiplicity and connection. Through this residency, I hope to grow as a storyteller, experiment in the unknown, develop this style blending art and tech without diminishing either, and share it with possible collaborators and presenting partners.

What will be the focus of your residency and what are the themes, concepts, or methods you are interested in exploring through your work?

I’m thrilled to explore new frontiers of storytelling with an incredible team—where technology, cinema, and dance unite in a 360° immersive space. At its heart, this project shares that none of us are just one thing; we exist in between, carrying contradictions and multiplicities. In this gray, we find our shared connection.
