Here’s all the info you need to know about how The Blue Room Theatre is working with COVID-19 mandates to help keep artists, staff and patrons safe and our shows running.

Our COVID Safety Plan responds to the latest updates from the State Government of WA. If any of the following changes, you’ll be updated before the performance.

Our mask requirements
Our performance spaces are intimate. To help protect artists and ensure our shows can go on, masks are encouraged in all areas of the venue.

Masks are available at the box office and bar if you require one.

Capacity
The Blue Room Theatre is currently running our theatres at  100% capacity for all areas of the venue.

Seating will not be socially distanced inside the performance spaces, so masks are encouraged.

Illness & Close Contact guidelines
If you are feeling unwell with cold/flu symptoms, we ask that you stay home and follow the latest State Government guidelines around testing and isolating.

If you are no longer able to attend a show due to being a close contact or COVID-19 positive, please let Box Office know as there is often a waitlist for shows.

Staff, artist and audience safety
All our casual staff and artists are performing RATs when required.

Hand sanitising stations are located throughout the venue both front and back of house for all to use.

Cleaning
The Blue Room Theatre is regularly cleaned by our Housekeeping and Front of House staff.

Drinks in the theatre
You are welcome to take drinks from our bar into our theatres. However anytime you are not drinking, we encourage you to please wear a mask inside the theatres.

General public use of the bar
The Blue Room Theatre Bar is available as a hot desk area to members Tuesday – Friday. Please check in at the Box Office on arrival.

The bar will be open from 1-hour pre the first performance and stay open after the final performance each day to ticket holders and the general public.

Please note: to minimise risk of transmission to staff and patrons, The Blue Room Bar is currently cashless.

Show times
To help keep all our audience, artists, and staff safe, it may become necessary to change the originally scheduled start time of a performance to allow for additional cleaning and other procedures to take place. Our Box Office team will be in touch with you directly if your ticket is affected by this.
