Drawing from IDC’s 5 Pillars of Consent, Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent, and MAEE’s Consent Framework this workshop will provide artists an opportunity to explore personal safety, body sovereignty, body mapping, agreement making and power dynamics within creative processes. The workshop will balance somatic practice, theory and discussion, and will provide participants with a MAEE-inspired template to help you follow protocol when choreographing intimacy scenes.
