Championing the voices of young Western Australians.

Championing the voices of young Western Australians.

Made in Boorloo is a development season of one act to full length plays that have been seeded by WA Youth Theatre Company’s writing programs. The Boorloo-based young writers behind these plays have work side-by-side with local professional directors, dramaturgs and WAYTCo member performers to bring their ideas to life. Expect fresh takes, variety and a commitment to telling stories about what matters to young people today.

WAYTCo

Multi-award-winning and industry respected, WAYTCo is an arts organisation that transforms lives. Through theatre and the creative process, young Western Australians gain skills, attributes and insights into themselves and the world.

“What an incredible treasure WA has with this theatre company. They are the future! Bravo!”

– Amber Hasler, Artistic Director, Fringe World, 2019

This program is produced by WA Youth Theatre Company (WAYTCo), presented by The Blue Room Theatre and WAYTCo, and supported by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries through a Strategic Initiatives Grant.
