This Winter Nights, we’re delivering 10 professional development workshops designed to spark creativity and build industry skills. From performance to producing and marketing to design, these sessions are here to empower, inspire, and strengthen our arts community. 

Over two hours participants will learn basic approaches to analysis of text, observation of drafts and how to speak about work with a writer. 

 

About Facillitator

Christopher Isaacs is a writer, devisor, performer, dramaturg, current literary director at Black Swan State Theatre Company, and founding core artist of The Last Great Hunt.  

As a dramaturg, and in his role at Black Swan State Theatre Company, Chris has assisted in the development of Dirty Birds (by Hayley and Mandy McElhinney), The Pool (by Steve Rodgers), Raised In Big Spirit Country (created by Naomi Pigram Mitchell), Carol (by Andrea Gibbs), The Shepherd’s Hut (by Tim McGarry, adapted from the novel by Tim Winton), and Day After Day In The Life Of The Useless (by Will O’Mahony).
