Who has the right to tell First Nations stories? What are the appropriate ways to collaborate with First Nations people when working on a First Nations work?

Join Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company’s Artistic Director, Eva Grace Mullaley, First Nations artist, Ian Wilkes, and Spare Parts Puppet Theatre Associate Director, Michael Barlow in a safe space to ask any burning questions creatives may have about working with First Nations communities and creative First Nations work. This is an opportunity to expand your knowledge and to educate yourself about the do’s and don’ts of collaborations with First Nations artists and their stories.

Yirra Yaakin is one of Australia’s leading Aboriginal performing arts organisations producing award-winning, world-class theatre that is exciting, entertaining, educational, authentic and culturally appropriate. The company has commissioned and premiered more than 50 new major Festival presentations, and presents to audiences across the globe.

Click ‘add to cart’ to register for this free online panel with Eva Grace Mullaley, Ian Wilkes and Michael Barlow, hosted through Zoom.
