Global Climate Strike
The Blue Room Theatre office will be closed this Friday 20th September 2019 between 11am – 2pm so we can be part of the Global Strike for Climate with people all around the world calling for action to address the climate crisis.
The demands of the protest include committing to targets like a just transition to 100% renewable energy and net zero carbon emissions by 2030.

We look forward to seeing lots of our fellow arts colleagues there as part of the Arts and Cultural Workers contingent; and then to continuing the conversation when we celebrate The Blue Room Theatre going carbon neutral for the first time with our Carbon zer0 Party here at 5.30pm on Wednesday September 25.
Ahead of the strike The Blue Room Theatre worked with West Australian artist Tim Meakins to develop some signage for the rally. We invite all those who are attending any climate strike in the near future to use the downloadable artworks to make your message seen.
