Single Mother Sarah, a fierce protector, provider and the anchor of her family, is preparing for a life changing journey. She hosts a family lunch. Her children dutifully arrive, although when she is out of the room old rivalries, bitter resentments and concerns for her boil over – but a deeper secret waits right there at the table. What comes next will challenge even the strongest bonds of love. This new Perth play is a visual meditation on the hero(ines) journey as Sarah makes one final gut-wrenching sacrifice for her children.
