Listen, and wonder.

Thousands of parallel sensory worlds coexist. The world is speaking, but our bodies are unable to hear much of what surrounds us. Now, we invite you to listen. 

Love Stories wonders what we can learn from listening to and inhabiting the parallel sensory worlds surrounding us. We explore stories of migratory humpback whale pods with unique vocal learning cultures, of Australian birdsong, composed by evolution, and of a vibrating and harmonious universe. Through live music, installation art, animation, and contemporary performance, these threads will be brought to life, all connected by an original composition created from reimagined field recordings taken across Boorloo. 

Listen, and wonder, to all kinds of interspecies loving and grieving, from our backyard to the cosmos.
