Championing the voices of young Western Australians

Made in Boorloo is a double bill of one act plays, written and performed by WA Youth Theatre Company members aged 13-26. The Boorloo-based young theatre makers have worked side-by-side with local professional directors and a dramaturg to bring their ideas to life. Expect fresh takes, variety and a commitment to telling stories about what matters to young people today.

Strongest Patient by Adam Snyman. Directed by Zac James

4 men in a hospital compete to see who’s the manliest of them all to win the ultimate prize of a new nose.

Red Thread by Sophia Bell. Directed by Amelia Burke

When a mysterious file appears on their doorstep, Audrey and Sora decide to follow the clues in hope of their grand prize. But things are not as they seem, and the deeper they journey, the stranger and more absurd this whirlwind adventure becomes.
