Energy, fire, blood, sweat and…
Blood pumps in your ears. Sweat drips into your eyes. The lights beckon, the crowd calls your name, and when you enter the arena, it’s not just the man on the other side that you’re fighting. Out for the Count is an originally devised physical theatre show in which two men are pushed to their limits. Blending between intense fight choreography and intimate dance, truth-telling and lies, real and fake; you are invited to ring side on fight night to witness the battle of the ages. This isn’t a message of hope, nor warning, but a depiction of the real and current influences, relationships, and persisting crisis men experience. Out of breath, out of time, and Out for the Count. Does the best man win?
