Come and celebrate your peers at the inaugural write club end of year reading. Featuring some of the write club cohort, this is a chance to give our writing some purpose, by putting it out into the world and receiving feedback in a kind and open way. Get a feel for what’s bubbling in the writing waters and meet some like-minded friends along the way.

About write club

write club, started in 2021, is a free workshop series for local artists developing original theatrical (and other written) works in Boorloo/Perth. With an emphasis on peer-led learning, these workshops and free-writing sessions create a space for current and emerging writers to meet, hang out and share ideas. Their aim is to demystify the creative process, and share knowledge and develop collective knowledge of independent theatre production, from script to stage.

every other (lowercase intentional) is a theatre company founded on inclusion. We’re a group of local WA artists dedicated to creating spaces and platforms for people with stories to tell. Founded in 2020, our focus is fresh and firmly on the future. We’re playful and versatile, current and challenging, open not insular. We’re “every other”, and we’re anything but.
