Recess Duty is a comedic love letter from one primary school teacher to another, capturing the messy, hilarious, and at times heartbreaking realities of school life. Set entirely in a school staffroom in term 4, educators ranging from bright-eyed newbies to battle-hardened veterans juggle unruly students, relentless admin, and curveballs from every direction – all while clinging to their sanity (and their mugs). Enjoy one last laugh from the outside before the bell rings and the chaos becomes your reality once more. 

Inspired by real life experiences, this dark comedy is equal parts therapy, satire, and solidarity.  

Think ‘The Office’ but with more glitter glue, overdue permission slips, and late-night parent emails.
