The Wolf, The Fox and The Bear

2025 Residency Program

27 March - 5 April

Residency

The Wolf, The Fox and The Bear is a new immersive theatre work in development by artist and writer Sarah Pollard. The play follows a wolf, a fox and a bear who join forces and build new friendships as they fight an evil wizard intent on destroying nature. As a multidisciplinary practicing artist, Sarah is interested in the possibilities of audiovisual design and animation in live performance. Working alongside neurodiverse collaborators and ally artists, Sarah’s project privileges neurodiverse storytelling, and considers new ways of thinking about our relationship to the natural world and each other.

What will be the focus of your residency and what are the themes, concepts, or methods you are interested in exploring through your work?

What excites you the most about this project and what are you hoping to get out of your residency?

MRF: What excites you most about developing ‘The Wolf, The Fox and The Bear’?

SP: It’s going to be epic and heartwarming. The story will be about animals who form a friendship together when they meet. I’m excited about getting up on the floor with Adam and Gabe. I’m excited about the animations we’re going to design
