Who laid the bricks of our 100 year old homes, who sewed the seeds of the farms a the turn of the century, who helped build this place we now call home?
An evening of original poetry, storytelling and music exploring and celebrating the contributions of communities historically overlooked when reflecting of the growth of modern Boorloo/Perth.
Five storytellers have been commissioned to write original poems, researching and reflecting on their communities historical impact on the development of Boorloo since British colonization. Stories often overlooked, or yet to be celebrated.
This project aims to showcase the hidden stories and contributions by the many multicultural communities that have called Boorloo home for generations.
