Join award-winning Dungeon Master, director, and writer Scott McArdle (Improv RPG, Same Time Next Week, Playthings) as he shares 16 years of tabletop gaming experience to help you be the best player you can be. Over 3 hours, you’ll learn:

  • How to build a character
  • Easy-to-understand breakdown of the rules
  • Tips on roleplaying your character
  • How to collaborate to create epic, meaningful stories
  • Running a safe and comfortable table

Following the workshop, you’ll be invited to join Scott and friends for an evening of playing D&D and flexing those creative muscles.

Specifically tailored to teach D&D with creative industries in mind, this workshop is perfect for anyone in the theatre and film industry looking to refine their storytelling and teamwork skills or practice their creativity outside of work.

June 8, 4:00-8:00PM – One Shot Party
All workshop attendees are invited to use what they’ve learned, joining Scott and some of his favourite DMs for a fun evening of D&D. Play alongside others as you’re led on an exciting 4 hour adventure in The Blue Room Theatre bar.
