Ancient Expression. New Pathways.

What is a Raaga? A melodic framework from India defined by a unique set of musical notes, serving as the foundation for musical expression and the evocation of specific moods and atmospheres.

Who is Shakespeare? An English playwright whose timeless works have become cornerstones of world literature. His genius, marked by profound insights into the human condition, transcends centuries, making him a celebrated cultural figure.

Raagas, Shakespeare & Everything in Between is a coming together of Classical Indian Tradition and Medieval Western Theatre. This initiative promises a seamless intertwining of the timeless allure of Shakespeare with the rich tapestry of Indian Raagas. A journey through text, music & dance in pursuit of deeper meaning, deeper emotion & new experience of the ancient classics.

Is there a Hamlet in Revati? Was Juliet lost in a moment of Khamas?
